Optifeed connector terms
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Optifeed connector: the hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at
https://mcp.optifeed.com/mcp, used from an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Meta's Muse.
They add to the Optifeed terms of service. If the two
disagree about the connector, these terms apply. The
connector privacy policy explains how we handle data.
1. Who can connect
- You need an Optifeed user account. You can create one in the connection window with a code that we email to you.
- You connect one company at a time, and only a company that your user can work in.
- You must be allowed to act for that company, and to share its data with the AI assistant you use.
2. The access you give
- Read is always included. The assistant can read the company's catalog, feeds, feed issues, AI proposals, advertising totals, customer segment counts, AI Visibility results, and site audits.
- Allow changes is optional and unticked by default. With it, the assistant can connect a catalog from a public feed URL, create a feed with a hosted file URL, run a site audit, and start AI proposals. It can do these without asking you again, so give this access only to an assistant you trust.
- The assistant acts for you. You are responsible for the instructions you give it and for the actions it takes with your connection.
3. What the connector does not do
- It does not approve proposals. Every AI proposal waits until a person approves it in the Optifeed web app.
- It does not publish to a live sales or advertising channel, and it does not change your campaigns or ad budgets.
- It does not overwrite your source catalog data.
- It does not change your plan, billing, payment details, or users, and it does not delete data.
4. AI budget
- AI proposals spend your company's AI budget. The connector shows the expected cost before a run when it can.
- When the budget is used up, AI tools stop with an error. Nothing more is spent.
- A connector trial includes a $3 AI budget. When your company starts a paid plan, AI use follows that plan.
5. The connector trial
- If you create a new account from the connector, your company gets a free trial for 30 days. You do not need to give payment details to start it.
- One trial is allowed for each email address and each store domain.
- If you do not choose a plan by day 30, the connector and the API stop for that company, and imports, feed refreshes, and exports stop. Hosted feed files keep their last version. You can still sign in to the Optifeed web app and choose a plan.
- If the company still has not paid 14 days after the trial ended, we delete its imported catalog and performance data, its AI proposals, and its hosted feed files, and we revoke all its connections. We email a warning 3 days before. The company account and its users stay.
6. Acceptable use
- Connect only feed URLs that you have the right to use.
- Audit only sites that you own or have permission to audit.
- Do not try to reach data of another company, to get around rate limits or the AI budget, or to disturb the service.
- Do not use the connector for anything that the Optifeed terms of service forbid.
7. AI assistants and their output
- Your AI assistant is a service of another company, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to it.
- AI assistants can make mistakes. Check the results and every proposal before you approve it.
- Optifeed is not responsible for what an AI assistant says or does with the data it receives.
8. Ending a connection
- You can revoke a connection at any time: in Optifeed, open Account, then Access tokens, and click Revoke under Connected agents. You can also remove the connector in your assistant.
- A connection ends 90 days after you approved it, or sooner when the assistant does not use it for 30 days. Connect again to continue.
- We can suspend or revoke a connection that breaks these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk.
9. Changes to the connector
We can add, change, or remove connector tools and limits. We will update these terms when the rules change, and we will change the date at the top. If you keep using the connector after a change, the new terms apply.
10. Liability and contact
The limits of liability in the Optifeed terms of service also apply to the connector. Questions about these terms: [email protected]. Help with the connector: [email protected].
